Construction News Image
Two aviation firms have moved their operations to Ireland's leading executive Business Campus in Shannon, Co Clare.

Westpark Shannon Ltd announced that Maintenance Support Systems Ltd has relocated its global Headquarters to the Campus, while Parc Aviation has relocated its Shannon office to the site.

Maintenance Support Systems Ltd is a leading software supplier to the aviation industry that provides a fully integrated, user friendly software, called SaSiMS, for aviation Maintenance, Engineering and Inventory forecasting and tracking.

Commenting on the company's move to Westpark, John Barry, Business Development Manager with Maintenance Support Systems said: "The ready availability of modern offices, with high-tech communications, in a prestige campus setting influenced our decision to relocate the HQ, including the Sales and European Support functions, to Westpark."

He added: "In our case, the fact that Westpark is already home to a number of other companies operating in the aviation industry makes for a very positive operating environment."

Parc Aviation is the world leader in the provision of aviation personnel worldwide. The company's head office is in Dublin, and other offices are located in Tokyo and Beijing.

Sean Butler, Director of Sales and Marketing, Parc Aviation, said: "We were attracted to Westpark partly because of the growing cluster of companies serving the aviation industry that are already based here.

"The world-class facilities on offer at the campus were also a crucial factor in our relocation," he said.

Strategically located next to Shannon International Airport and in the heart of the Atlantic Way, Westpark has become a unique and prestigious office location for global corporations to headquarter their European operations.

The Campus is home to some of the world's leading companies such as GE, Digital River, Genesis Lease and SES – as well as serving as the National Regional Headquarters for Enterprise Ireland.
