A Carryduff firm has become the first in Northern Ireland to supply customers with a secure fuel storage and dispensing system for commercial and agricultural applications in a 9,000 litre size for increased capacity.
The new FMV 9000 Titan FuelMaster, available from Knockbracken Fuels, Carryduff, aims to provide a secure and reliable system that comes complete with integral pump and nozzle, hose, filter and monitoring system as standard.
"Now that it's compulsory for fuel dispensing tanks in commercial, agricultural or industrial properties to be bunded, it makes sense to protect fuel storage, especially as the clean-up costs for any spills into drains and water courses can run into millions of pounds," said James Carson, Director of Knockbracken Fuels.
The Titan FuelMaster (from Kingspan Environmental Ltd, Portadown) prevents any potential spill and protects diesel by housing the equipment and securing access to the fuel with a lockable cabinet.
Available in a range of different sized tanks, from 1,300 to 9,000 litre capacity, the FuelMaster also offers a number of useful features such as a fitted light inside the dispensing cabinet for easy vision.
"The larger 9,000 litre tank is a new addition to our FuelMaster range and has a wide variety of applications, from those working in haulage and distribution, to construction and agriculture," said Mr Carson.
Richard Dodge, Operations Director of RMS Cash Services in Belfast, Knockbracken Fuels’ first customer in Northern Ireland for the new 9000 litre Titan FuelMaster, was impressed by the system's security, efficiency and tank capacity.
"Because of the nature of our business, cash in transit vehicles going out around the Province need to be refuelled at our own premises, so a large, secure tank is a necessity. The 9,000 litre tank is ideal, and will make a great return on our investment," he said.
