Oonagh Hinds, Invest NI's Eastern Regional Office Manager, said: "McCloy Consulting is an innovative environmental service provider and its main clients are in niche markets which are growing.

"Businesses such as McCloy Consulting which have the capability to offer a specialist product or service can make a significant contribution to the local economy by identifying and satisfying solid demand in sizeable external markets."

Anthony McCloy, McCloy Consulting Managing Director, said: "There is considerable demand for our services for a number of reasons.

"The increased environmental sensitivity around these developments has boosted demand for our services”

He added: "They are demanding a higher standard of sustainable flood management for proposed development sites, and this represents further business opportunities for us."

McCloy Consulting's existing customer base includes several well-known companies such as UK-based Renewable Energy Systems and Airtricity in the Republic of Ireland.
