Over 100 new jobs are to be created at Dundrum's largest shopping mall, as the award-winning centre expands its retail offering over the next several months.
Dundrum Town Centre said seven new tenants will open their doors, offering fashion, leisure, food and specialist services, ultimately generation 104 new jobs, as well dozens more for local shop fitters.
Celebrity favourite fashion brand Lipsy, will open its doors on Level 1.
Douglas and Kaldi Terrace Café & Restaurant located on Level 2, has just launched providing full table service and terraced seating to customers, whilst the H&M Kids store, located on Level 3, has just opened its doors to the public.
Butchers, The Butcher's Block, opened its doors to great fanfare recently, and Chaplain's, a convenient one-stop-shop for shoe repairs, key cutting, dry-cleaning and men's suit hire will open in May.
It will be located in a large unit on the Sandyford Road, which has also set to welcome EducoGym, the innovative sports and leisure centre, to the retail area.
Dundrum Town Centre most recently announced the opening of Gap's first Irish stand alone store to the centre, set to open next month.
The Dundrum Gap store will be 8,000 square feet over two floors, housing the women's, men's, GapKid's and babyGap collections.
Don Nugent, Centre Director, Dundrum Town Centre, said: "We are delighted to announce these new arrivals at Dundrum Town Centre.
"These latest arrivals demonstrate the confidence retailers have in Dundrum, as the Centre of choice during these economic uncertain times."
The opening of a further seven new retailers to Dundrum Town Centre is also reflected by the strong performance the centre has shown during the first quarter of 2009, with double digit growth in footfall recorded, versus the same period during 2008.
Dundrum Town Centre opened its doors in March 2005 with 15 first time retailers in Ireland including Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser, H&M and Massimo Dutti.
The centre has received 30 international and national awards including the FBD Retail Excellence Ireland Award 2008.
