Strategic fit-out partners Designflow Spielmann's have moved into new premises in Dublin.
The news comes after the two firms agreed a 50/50 merger late last year.
Designflow Managing Director Robert Trench said January had been a busy month, which culminated in the two firms signing a lease to take a 1,700 square foot office and showroom in Markland Holdings' new Fumbally Square development in Dublin 2.
A ten year lease was signed at €403 per square metre, considerably below the quoted rent of €430 per square metre, in a deal negotiated by DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald.
The firms also completed the kitting out of a new Irish headquarters for Volkswagen, whose office in Liffey Valley has just been refurbished.
Designflow Spielmann's were the sole furniture supplier for the 150 workstation project where Citterio furniture with Wilkhahn seating where the main product ranges supplied.
Mr Trench said: "Since the completion of the merger it has been none stop with a new office, new products and busy New Year.
"Fumbally Court is just the job, it is a beautiful old distillery that has been sympathetically refurbished with high quality office space within the original stonework and courtyard - just two minutes walk from St. Stephen's Green."
In between sealing the new office and finalising the Volkswagen fit out Designflow Spielmann's also completed the signing up of two new manufacturers from continental Europe.
They were zero-carbon manufacturer Wilkhahn and the USM Haller, which is considered a design classic and has a permanent exhibition in The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
