Draft proposals to regenerate the city of Armagh have been opened to the public.
The city's residents have been invited to a master plan session, later this month, which will see the future of the area shaped.
Northern Ireland Regeneration Minister, Margaret Ritchie, said: "A key priority for me is setting out a shared vision for urban regeneration and economic development across Northern Ireland.
"I believe the draft masterplan provides us with an ambitious but realistic vision of how the city can make the best use of its assets and secure its ongoing success and prosperity. This is a major boost for the people of Armagh.
The Paul Hogarth Company has been commissioned to consult local stakeholders on their needs.
Minister Ritchie met with members of the Armagh Masterplan Advisory Group to discuss progress and the emerging findings last month.
Some projects will be implemented over the next 10 to 15 years.
These include the conservation of historic buildings, the development of brownfield sites and improvements to access and parking arrangements.
Noel Sheridan, Mayor of Armagh City said: "While the Masterplan will be visionary it will also be practical and realistic and outline an action plan for what is achievable in the immediate short term period (up to two / three years)."
Representatives of the consultant and client teams will be on hand during the consultation event to speak to members of the public and to listen to their views.
The meeting will held on Thursday 22 January from 3.00pm to 8.00pm in Saint Patrick's Trian, Armagh.
