Donnelly CCT Unveils New Training Scheme

An internationally recognised construction-training firm is set to launch a series of new industry development programmes across Ireland.

Donnelly CCT, a specialist consultant on material purchasing and in house development, will put forward a pilot training scheme to the Irish Construction Industry Federation tomorrow.

The new project, which will be presented at the CIF's Dublin headquarters, is focused on waste management. Donnelly CCT hopes this particular scheme will be adopted and rolled out nationwide by September this year.

The firm, who is also holding a Purchasing System course this week at the Spa Hotel, in Dublin, believes internal training and consultancy programmes help examine current procedures, and introduce best practice.


Donnelly CCT has imparted knowledge as far a field as Kuala Lumpar and Hong Kong. And since 2001 the company has trained over 6,000 construction professionals worldwide.

As well as operating in England and Scotland, Donnelly CCT also has the backing of the Northern Ireland Construction Industry Training Board.

The Northern Ireland board provides support funds for its members to attend seminars provided by the firm.

International courses have been backed by the Chartered Institute of Building, a body that boasts over 42,000 members worldwide.

Donnelly CCT has also had the opportunity to speak to delegates at the University of Hong Kong, as well as publishing its concepts in Australia.

Courses are open to wide range of management levels within the industry, including engineers, quantity surveyors, buyers and administration officials.

Donnelly CCT claims companies can benefit from saving worth ten of thousands of euros, by incorporating its training system.
