The training course offers construction staff the foundations to Construction Systems and Controls applicable to the €36bn Irish construction industry where some contractors spend up to 35% of the company turnover on the buying of materials and services - often without stringent Purchasing Controls - a direct cost to profitability and where material waste often eats up large amounts of cost and potential profit.
The course will deal with proven systems and controls. Delegates will gain a full appreciation of the importance of these issues to enable them to consider the introduction of controls into the construction management to reduce costs and increase profits by up to 70%.
Guide prices for a wide range of building materials will be included in the course. Best practice guide notes will be issued for Purchasing and Waste Controls.
Construction staff, Buyers, Quantity Surveyors from all construction companies including house and apartment builders, main contractors - building and civil engineering and those responsible for buying in sub-contractors are all advised to attend the courses.
