iSafe, a software product developed by Olive Safety and currently being piloted by two Irish companies, was launched at the recent Irish Building Exhibition in the RDS where it was awarded a prize in the 'Best New Product of the Show' category.
iSafe is a single IT solution tailored to help Irish businesses meet their health and safety obligations through the audit and management of health and safety practises. Olive Safety hopes that the new product will generate a new health and safety culture amongst Irish businesses by providing them with an easy-use software application that makes all employees accountable for complying with their company’s health and safety requirements.
"Irish employees have always associated health and safety compliance with reams of paperwork and unnecessary bureaucracy," said Managing Director, Julian Rafter. "There was a clear need for a product that would ensure that all safety information is uploaded and stored in one place so that training records, certificates and safety statements can be saved and viewed easily. It changes the approach to health and safety management in the organisation so that all managers and employees are involved. Businesses can now view the information on accidents, incidents and inspections easily, making health and safety part of working culture in the business. It helps make safety second nature."
iSafe software is designed by Irish health and safety experts specifically for the Irish marketplace and is fully compliant with HSA guidelines and regulations.
The package undergoes continual upgrades and updates that are in line with new regulations and national compliance programmes.
