Changing The Face Of Property Photography

Eagle Elevated Photography is a new and innovative photography company dedicated to providing a unique photography service to clients especially in the property market.

The Irish-owned and managed company uses a pioneering concept that facilitates “aerial” photography without the need for helicopters or specially equipped planes. For a fraction of the cost of mainstream aerial photography, Eagle Elevated Photography captures images of the property in its entirety from a height of over 15 metres, resulting in high-impact, panoramic elevated shots.

Using telescopic technology, an extendable and transportable mast arrives on-site with one of Eagle Elevated Photography’s customised vehicles. The mast can be adjusted to a height that suits clients’ individual requirements. A high-resolution, 10 mega-pixel digital camera is mounted onto a motorised pan and tilt head that sits on top of the telescopic mast. The mast can be attached to the vehicle and manoeuvred into position or a mobile tripod can be used for harder-to-reach locations. The mounted camera is controlled by a computer at ground level and is capable of a full 360-degree pan movement and has a 45-degree angle tilt mechanism, allowing for different angles and perspectives.

According to Managing Director, David Gethings, the concept of elevated photography can be used in a variety of situations. He stated: “By its very nature, elevated photography can serve multi-purpose requirements. Because it provides an elevated, panoramic view of an object or property, the benefits far outweigh the application of aerial or ground photography, which can be limited by weather conditions, time and budgetary constraints.”
