Dublin-based John Paul Construction has provided a project update for its works at the new Dexcom Health Tech Facility in Athenry, County Galway.
The facility will be the American healthcare company's first manufacturing site in Europe and will accommodate up to 1,000 high tech graduate and technician level positions once the site is running at full capacity.
Discussing the project, a statement from John Paul Construction said: "We are now just over 12 months on the ground at the new Dexcom Health Tech Facility in Galway and great progress has been made.
"Once complete, it will feature advanced production spaces, cleanrooms, labs, M&E plantrooms, warehousing, and a four-storey office building.
"Fitout of the technical and production spaces are well underway, and the RC frame of the office building is complete with works now progressing on glazing of the facades and steel to the atrium roof."
