BSG Continues Progress On Commissioning Portadown Sewer

BSG Civil Engineering is progressing well with commissioning a new large diameter sewer in Portadown, County Armagh, on behalf of NI Water.

The next section of commissioning work at Tavanagh Avenue commenced today (March 13) following completion of work on the access road to Meadow Lane East Car Park/Tesco.

To carry out the next section of work on Tavanagh Avenue, the west-bound lane of Meadow Lane and footpath adjacent to the Baptist Church Hall is closed. Access to Tavanagh Avenue is from Thomas Street only. Access to the Baptist Church Car Park and Health Centre is available from Thomas Street and Meadow Lane.

Discussing the works, a statement from NI Water said: "NI Water and our project team from McAdam and BSG thank the public for their continued patience as we work to complete the commissioning of this essential new infrastructure."
