Public Consultation For New Community Space In Monaghan

A public consultation is being held regarding the potential development of an exciting new community space in Clones, County Monaghan.

St Tiernach's Quarter Community Hub and Plaza, which would be based in the town adjacent to St Tiernach's Park, will provide a mix of high quality indoor and outdoor community spaces including: A flexible community hub; flexible and fixed community and leisure facilities; spaces for the provision of services by community organisations; and an upgrade of the public realm.

To help Monaghan County Council develop the community spaces which will meet the needs of the public, both an in-person and online consultation has been arranged.

During these consultations, the public can review the draft proposals and share views on how the current draft proposals for the Community Hub can be refined.

The proposals will be on display in the Monaghan County Council Offices (Ballybay Clones Municipal District Offices) The Diamond, Clones from 11am to 9pm on Wednesday, February 5.

This is a drop-in event so you the public can attend at a time which suits best across that day.
