Plans For Meath Housing Development Unveiled

Exciting plans have been proposed for a new housing development in County Meath.
The development, situated north of Ashewood Green and Ashewood Glen in the townland of Dunreagh, Ashbourne, will consist of the construction of 79 residential units comprising 41 two-bed houses, 4 three-bed houses and 34 one-bed apartments.
The plans, which were unveiled by Meath County Council, also allow for new vehicular access from Ashewood Green; the provision of public open space, boundary treatments, landscaping and SuDS drainage; vehicular parking, cycle parking and refuse storage; connection to public sewers and mains water supply; and all ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the development.
Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to the Local Authority: Planning Department, Meath County Council, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath or via the online web portal on or before March 13, 2025.
