The road was officially opened on Monday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony after the project was delivered on time and on budget, partly in thanks to John Paul Construction's close collaboration with its supply chain partners.

A statement from John Paul Construction said: "The project's success lay in logistical challenges being overcome thanks to strong cooperation from our colleagues at Intel and within Kildare County Council.
"This ensured that existing traffic flow was managed, operations at the Intel Campus continued uninterrupted and impact to local road users was minimised."
The road, which was designed and planned by Arup, promises improved traffic flow, capacity and connectivity to support the local area for years to come.
