Construction News Image
The latest newsletter entailing an overview of work carried out by Northern Ireland's Utility Regulator has now been published.

Included in the November edition is some of the many speaking events, discussions and visits the organisation took part in, such as its attendance with National Energy Action NI at the All-Party Group on Fuel Poverty at Stormont on Tuesday, November 26, during which the Utility Regulator presented findings from its energy hardship report.

It also includes the Utility Regulator's presentation to the Committee for Infrastructure on its Final Determination of the Mid-Term Review of NI Water's PC21 Price Control, and its participation in a roundtable discussion hosted by Northern Ireland Water and chaired by agendaNi Magazine.

This edition outlines the Utility Regulator's determination on the financial incentive for SONI's performance for 2022/2023, along with its decision on modifications to the gas distribution licences of SGN Evolve Network Ltd (Evolve), Firmus energy (Distribution) Limited (FEDL) and Phoenix Energy Group Ltd (PE).

It also looks at the Utility Regulator's conclusion of its review of the regulated domestic tariff for Power NI, along with a decision paper and a number of consultations that it published in November.

Last month, the Utility Regulator welcomed SONI's announcement that two significant contracts for crucial new renewable energy integration technologies had been awarded.

Feedback on the Utility Regulator's newsletter, and any issues the public would like to see covered in future editions, can be submitted via info@uregni.gov.uk.

The newsletter can be found here.
