TU Dublin has partnered with Chadwicks Group to launch the Chadwicks Group Scholarship Programme, aimed at supporting students in the University’s Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment.
The programme, which began in February 2024, will provide financial assistance to two exceptional students, helping them focus on their academic and professional futures throughout their studies.
In a significant milestone for both organisations, Patrick Atkinson, CEO of Chadwicks Group, visited TU Dublin's Grangegorman Campus on Thursday, September 27th. During the visit, Atkinson met with the university's Access team and Omar Hasan, one of the inaugural scholarship recipients. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in the growing partnership between TU Dublin and Chadwicks Group.
The scholarship initiative reflects both institutions' shared commitment to nurturing future leaders in the fields of engineering and construction, strengthening their collaboration and impact on the next generation of industry professionals.
Claire Dunne, Access Support Manager at TU Dublin, said: "Financial supports like the Chadwicks Scholarship provide a vital lifeline for students, empowering them to focus on their studies without the constant worry of financial pressures. This allows them to fully engage in university life and provides them with the resources needed to reach their full potential."
Patrick Atkinson, CEO of Chadwicks Group, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the programme, stated: "Chadwicks Group is delighted to be able to present this scholarship programme to TU Dublin to support the education and development of students in the Engineering and Built environment. We are committed to investing in the future of the construction industry by helping students acquire the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their careers. We wish the recipients every success in the future studies and careers and look forward to continuing to work with TU Dublin on this and other development projects."
