Power NI Supports Net Zero Ambitions At Mid South West Business Breakfast

Power NI recently participated in the Mid South West Net Zero Programme Business Breakfast, hosted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. The event brought together local businesses, industry leaders, and public sector representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities of transitioning to a net zero future.

The breakfast provided a platform for attendees to learn about the Mid South West Net Zero Programme, which aims to support businesses in adopting sustainable practices and reducing their carbon footprint. Alistair Menary, Project Manager for the programme, outlined the benefits and resources available to local businesses.

Heather Mackey from Foyle Food Group shared valuable insights into the company's sustainability journey, highlighting the importance of reducing environmental impact and the lessons learned along the way.

Financial experts from Danske Bank and the British Business Bank offered practical advice on securing green finance. They discussed the various funding options available to businesses and the steps involved in securing financial support for sustainable projects.

A panel discussion featuring representatives from Power NI and Encom Energy focused on energy management and green energy solutions. The panellists provided expert advice on reducing energy consumption, improving efficiency, and adopting renewable energy technologies.
