Dublin City Council is inviting members of the public to contribute their thoughts and ideas to the development of its new Corporate Plan. This comprehensive plan will outline the city's vision and goals for the next five years, shaping the future of Dublin.
The City Council is conducting a public survey to gather feedback and insights from residents, businesses, and other stakeholders. By participating in the survey, you can help influence decisions on key areas such as housing, sports, recreation, community development, climate action, economic growth, transportation, public spaces, and planning.
The Corporate Plan 2020-2024 successfully guided the city's development over the past few years. Now, it's time to set a new course and establish fresh priorities for 2025-2029.
To share your vision for Dublin's future, please participate in the public survey. Your input will play a crucial role in shaping the city's development and ensuring a sustainable and vibrant future for all.
Richard Shakespeare, Chief Executive of Dublin City Council said: "We need the public's help to form a vision and set ambitious goals for our city and communities. We want to hear from all those who live, work and play in Dublin. What are your key priorities for the city? What changes would you like to see over the next five years? This is your opportunity to tell us what we should do differently and highlight what's important to you. Tell us what we can do to improve our services and make Dublin a better city. All suggestions, comments and fresh ideas are welcome."
Dublin City Council is carrying out this public consultation until Wednesday, 30 October 2024. The Corporate Plan will then go to the Elected Members of Dublin City Council for adoption at their meeting on 2 December.
Elected Members and Dublin City Council staff members have also been asked to contribute their opinions through surveys and workshops.
This is the first public survey to be hosted on Dublin City Council's new consultation platform, which aims to encourage and increase public engagement. To take part, visit engage.dublincity.ie/
