Winthrop has been recognised for its commitment to safety by winning the Gold Award at the All-Ireland Occupational Safety Awards.

Having received the silver award in the previous year, Winthrop's achievement of the gold award this year demonstrates its continued dedication to creating a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
Ivan Conway, EHS Director, said: "As with any business, there are risks, but in the construction industry, some of these risks can be classed as critical, and must be managed effectively. It’s important that we take action to ensure that our teams know, and live best practice when it comes to safety. Our continuous commitment in prioritising Safety is essential and is fundamental to us getting our teams home safe, each day."
Winthrop also received a Consistent High Achiever Award, which is awarded to companies who achieve a Distinction or above for five consecutive years.
