Temporary Road Closures For Drogheda Festival Of Light

To help facilitate the highly-anticipated Lú Festival of Light in Drogheda, the Louth County Council has provided notice of temporary road closures.

West Street, Wellington Quay, Fr. Connolly Way, St. Laurence Street and Palace Street will close from 5.45pm to 9.45pm on the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 31st October, as well as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd November.

The extent of the road closures will be: Fr. Connolly Way from its junction with West Street to where it meets Wellington Quay; Wellington Quay to Stockwell Lane; West Street from Fr. Connolly Way to the junction with Peter Street; St Laurence Street to Palace Street; Palace Street from Laurence Gate up to William St junction.

Throughout these closures, no vehicular access or parking will be permitted and diversions for traffic will be in place.

However, emergency services traffic will be facilitated at all times.
