The event, Conserving Energy = Conserving Buildings, will take place on 15th November at the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane, Galway City, and focuses on how buildings can play their part on reducing carbon emissions and energy bills.

Galway's historic traditional buildings account for near 20% of all buildings in Ireland and a huge amount of damage can be done and costs incurred if retrofits are not undertaken with the right knowledge, care and materials.
Experts on the energy retrofit of traditional buildings will also band together at the event.
