Free Walk-In Clinics To Assist With Kildare Energy Grant Application

Construction News Image
Free walk-in clinics have been offered by the Kildare County Council to assist their business community with applying for the €10,000 Energy Efficiency Grant.

The grant can be used for a variety of upgrades, including meters, smart energy controls, lighting upgrades to LED, heat recovery, equipment upgrades and much more.

The clinics are set to take place every Friday in November between 10 am and 4pm, in MERITS, Naas (W91 FE8V) with no appointments necessary.

"The Energy Efficiency Grant supports investment in technologies and equipment, with 75% of eligible costs from a minimum grant of €750 to a maximum of €10,000," said Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise, Tourism and Economic Development, Kildare County Council.

"We are keen to ensure that as many businesses as possible can avail of this funding opportunity and we are committed to supporting Kildare's business community to increase their agility and resilience and to operate in a sustainable manner."

With growing interest in energy-efficient upgrades and the availability of substantial grants, many business owners are unsure of where to start, or how to apply.

The clinics aim to streamline the application process and provide expert personalised guidance to help business owners access these vital funds.

Expert guidance, personalised assistance and time saving factors are some of the benefits clients of the walk-in can avail of.

For more information about the clinics, contact the Local Enterprise Office at localenterprise@kildarecoco.ie or by calling 045 980 838.
