Work is almost complete the €50 million project to upgrade the wastewater infrastructure for Ramelton, Milford and Rathmullan.

In early 2025 Uisce Éireann will have put an end to the discharge of raw sewage into the Leannan Estuary, Lough Swilly and Maggie's Burn.

The works safeguard the environment, however they will support social and economic development allowing the communities of Ramelton, Milford and Rathmullan to thrive.

At this stage, the construction team has completed much of the new sewer pipelines, underground wastewater storage tanks and associated pump houses.
