Storm Technology Transforms Glenveagh's Systems

Storm Technology has transformed the IT and financial systems of Irish homebuilder, Glenveagh Properties Plc.

In order to deliver innovation through how it plans, designs and builds new homes, Glenveagh engaged Storm Technology to upgrade its existing financial services, unify critical business systems and build a solid IT foundation.

Using Microsoft's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution Business Central, Storm Technology implemented construction software 4PS, a modular ERP solution designed exclusively to meet the needs of the construction, civil engineering and mechanical/electrical engineering firms.

With this new system all stakeholders in Glenveagh can access the right information at the right time, while upholding the highest data compliance and security standards. With the system's seamless integration to financial planning and analysis software, Solver, it further enhances data analysis and reporting across the organisation. The team also have the option of adding additional modules in line with future requirements and expansion.

Storm Technology also deployed Microsoft Dynamics 365 to further expand Glenveagh's digital ecosystem, optimise the sales process and enhance its customer experience. This migration of CRM software eradicated the bottlenecks created by the construction company’s previous solution.

These new solutions are improving the flow of information across departments while saving costs for Glenveagh.

In addition to bolstering agility and scalability, the technology facilitates automated processing and provides real-time business insights for Glenveagh. Consequently, this has boosted operational efficiency and ensures uniformity across the organisation, with everyone working from the same dataset.

John Barton, IT Director, Glenveagh, said: "The introduction of these solutions marked a huge shift for our business. Once implemented, we were embracing automation and leveraging real-time insights immediately. It’s been a game changer for the organisation in terms of boosting operational efficiency, supporting innovation, and driving growth.

"From our very first engagement, the team at Storm Technology have continued to display the highest levels of professionalism and technical excellence. One of the biggest things is that they were open and willing to collaborate with us, to find a support rhythm and create custom solutions that work for our specific requirements."

Mick McKay, Chief Operations Officer, Storm Technology, added: "The solutions we have put in place will allow Glenveagh to add new system capabilities as needed – almost like building blocks. As well as transforming how the business operates now, these will enable the team to digitise and streamline the home-building process, from site acquisition to sale close, going forward.

"The internal benefits Glenveagh are enjoying – including increased productivity, improved communication, and enhanced data analysis – are also helping to deliver external results – such as enhanced customer experience and accelerated business growth. We have enjoyed working with them as construction experts and look forward to building further on our collective success."
