Aurient Ltd has announced that phase three of the £7 million restoration of Belfast's Crescent area is scheduled for completion in autumn.
Last month the latest phase of works began which involves a 7275 sq. ft redevelopment of the city's landmark Grade II listed Georgian terraces. Spanning over three floors across 14 and 15 Upper Crescent, the townhouses will be transformed to strengthen The Regency Collection’s offering as a modern-day hospitality house.
The upcoming phase will introduce eight new bedrooms designed to mirror the luxurious standards of five-star hotel accommodations. This expansion will increase the venue's existing range of luxury residences, providing guests and members with an enriched selection of room options.
The ground floor will house a new, striking restaurant with outdoor seating. Upstairs, there will be a cosy piano and wine bar, along with a serene library lounge ideal for relaxation or meetings.
A state-of-the-art wellness suite will incorporate a boutique gym equipped with premium fitness equipment from Belfast fitness company BLK BOX. The suite will also include a sauna, hot tub, outdoor ice plunge, and treatment room to enable the five-star venue to provide guests and members with an elevated holistic experience.
The four-year major restoration of The Regency Collection, a five-star hospitality house and events venue, situated in the historic Queen’s Quarter is set to create up to 15 hospitality jobs when completed.
Alongside the physicl redevelopment, The Regency Collection will unveil bespoke membership packages. This model, commonly seen in cities like London and New York, will redefine Belfast’s hospitality offering, while maintaining the exclusivity of the property, which until now has only been open to overnight guests.
Anthony Kieran, director of Aurient Ltd, commented on the final stage of The Regency Collection's redevelopment. He said:
"Construction is well underway on the third phase of our regeneration project, and we’re thrilled to be edging closer to the final, monumental milestone that will provide guests and members with a truly holistic and unrivalled experience.
"Together, with our dedicated team of talented craftspeople, we are completely reimagining the hospitality offering in Northern Ireland and are confident that The Regency Collection will deliver on creating a new era of greatness for the Crescent."
