Power NI has donated £300 to support Loughview Youth Football Club through it's Helping Hands initiative.
The County Antrim football club used the donation to purchase a storage container to ensure their players' personal belongings are kept secure.
The club currently has four squads, with children from ages five to 14 representing it at games across Northern Ireland.
Stephen Beattie, a member of the 2012 team's coaching staff, stated: "I would like to thank Power NI on behalf of everyone at Loughview Youth Football Club.
"Securing a storage container with this funding will be a massive benefit to the club, its players and coaches as they have had to use their cars up until now to keep items safe. The container gives everyone a designated place to leave any of their personal belongings."
Katherine Lavander, whose son plays for Loughview Youth FC, was the person who applied to Power NI for Helping Hands support, she said: "Loughview Youth FC are doing amazing work with the children in the Randalstown and Antrim areas,” she said. “They provide a football-for-everyone environment which means no child is turned away from sport. This automatically makes them feel welcome and part of a supportive and friendly team setting.
"As a recently formed club, I know everyone associated with Loughview Youth FC will be delighted to receive this funding as it will help them in their journey."
