Members Of Architecture And Built Environment MAG Announced

The Department for Communities (DfC) has announced the new and returning members to the Ministerial Advisory Group (MAG) for Architecture and the Built Environment NI.

Chair, Andrew Haley, and one Member, Roisin Donnelly has been re-appointed to the MAG from 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2027.

Both Andrew and Roisin have served in their current roles on the MAG since 1 June 2019. Andrew has also previously served as a Member since 1 May 2014.


On top of the returning Members, seven new Members have been appointed to the MAG and will serve between 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2027.

The following Members have been appointed:

•Dr Barry McCarron

•Ms Alice McGlone

•Mrs Carol Ramsey

The MAG was established following publication of the 'Architecture and the Built Environment' policy. It advises on the implementation of this policy and champions good design in the built environment in Northern Ireland.
