Restoration Of Mitchelstown, Kilbehenny And Ballygiblin's Water Supply

Uisce Éireann has announced that it is working to restore water supply to customers in Kilbehenny Village, Ballygiblin and Mitchelstown North after a burst watermain.

Due to the burst watermain, customers in Kilbehenny Village and Ballygiblin may experience low pressure or interruptions to their water supply. Later today the fault may impact the Michelstown Town North area.

Speaking about the unplanned outage, Water Operations Lead for Uisce Éireann, Niall O'Riordan said: "Crews are working hard to repair the burst and get the water supply back as soon as possible. We regret any inconvenience as a result of this issue and thank the local community for their patience."

Repairs are expected to be completed this evening, 15 December.
