NI Water Takes Home Two CIPD Awards

NI Water has scooped two accolades at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) NI Awards in Belfast.

The company won the Most Impactful Health and Wellbeing at Work award and CIPD NI's Highly Commended award for the Best Resourcing and Talent Strategy category.

NI Water health and wellbeing manager, Alison Sweeney, NI Water group compensation manager, Tom Clarke, and NI Water recruitment specialist, Claire Hanna, were presented with the awards.

The CIPD Awards in Northern Ireland celebrate the contribution of people professionals to the success of public and private sector organisations in Northern Ireland.

Paula Graham, Head of Culture, Engagement & Learning said: "We are just delighted to pick up both these awards in what is two very highly contested categories. These awards demonstrate NI Water’s success in the creation of innovative talent attraction, development and retention strategies as well as our unwavering commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of our people - all of which makes this a great place to work. The awards are recognition for the outstanding work that goes on within our HR team in partnership with many other functions across NIW to develop and execute strategies over a number of years to the point that they are worthy of winning these prestigious awards."

The awards ceremony which took place at The Titanic Hotel was attended by 350 delegates and presented by Denise Van Outen.
