Nordic Facades has partnered with a Danish facade supplier to bring sustainable facade systems to the UK and Ireland.

The Belfast based company supplies and distributes timber and aluminium facade systems with a low carbon footprint. Its partner, Nordisk Profil A/S, has specialised in creating project adapted facade solutions for over 30 years in the Scandinavian construction sector.

The partnership came about following an introduction through mutual contacts at an exhibition in Copenhagen.

Contracts Manager, Thomas Ferguson, said: "Nordic Facades provide complete facade solutions for a wide range of buildings such as residential complexes, universities, hospitals, shops, parking garages and as technical shielding. Whatever the type of building, the possibilities are endless with our innovative and flexible systems, where the only limit is your imagination. With our innovative approach to design, we can help our clients create a building facade that is not only visually stunning, but also sustainable and functional."

Nordisk Profil CEO and Partner, Jørgen Tøtterup Sørensen, stated: "We are proud to welcome Nordic Facades as our new supplier to the Irish and UK market and look forward to assisting in the development and growth of the region’s sustainable construction sector."

With sustainability remaining the company's top priority, Nordic Facades also uses a 100 per cent non-toxic, environmentally friendly and biodegradable fire retardant.
