BSG To Carry Out Maintenance Work At Co Down Reservoir

Contractor BSG has been appointed by NI Water to carry out vital maintenance work at a reservoir in County Down.

The work, at Lough Island Reservoir, will commence this week and is expected to be completed at the end of 2024.

During the work, some sections of the footpath will be closed for health and safety reasons. NI Water and BSG said they "will do everything possible to keep any disruption to a minimum".

The project team has liaised with stakeholders in the area and signage with a detailed map will be in place to advise the public on restricted areas.
