As a vehicle leasing business for 27 years, Fleet Financial is to introduce a scheme to help give businesses a boost in retaining and maintaining staff satisfaction rates. Whilst easing the transition to greener vehicles.
Similar to cycle to work initiatives, the salary sacrifice scheme will allow employees to trade part of their salary for payments towards a new electric-vehicle (EV).
The scheme has been announced following a rebrand of the Mallusk-based company, which aimed to reflect their growth and evolving product portfolio. At present, 80 per cent of Fleet Financial's order book is made up of electric or hybrid vehicles.
Sales Director of Fleet Financial, Damian Campbell said: "The future of EV's is evolving each day. Manufacturers are bringing more vehicles to the marketplace, our charging infrastructure is improving, with both the private and public sectors offering investment.
"With increased focus on EV's, this increasingly popular employee benefit is proving to be a very effective way for employers to attract and retain talent. Schemes such as this represent an opportunity for us to support the transition to electric vehicles and support companies and their employees in the drive to net zero."
With reference to the rebrand, the company says they are 'delighted' that their new-look is in place as they promote greener technologies through the new Electric and Plug-in Hybrid salary sacrifice scheme.
Damian Campbell said: "The initiative represents a significant investment in supporting our customers and their employees to reduce their carbon footprint. With a huge selection of cars and specialist systems available alongside all-inclusive service and expert support we hope that more like-minded organisations will come onboard and help us achieve our aim of reducing and removing emissions across the industry."
