A new spectator area and fan-zone have been created at the Carryduff Forklift Down Rally which is being supported by Lisburn & Castlereagh Council.
The specially designated spectator area offers an opportunity for enthusiasts to get up close to the action and engage with the competitors.
A traditional ceremony will take place in Market Square from 7.30pm on the 21 July with the rally screening starting in Market Square at 9am on the 22nd July.
Regeneration and Growth Committee Chairman, Councillor John Laverty BEM said: "I am delighted to announce the council's support of the upcoming Carryduff Forklift Down Rally. We believe that hosting a council sponsored Fan-Zone in the city centre will not only attract rally enthusiasts but also create a vibrant atmosphere for residents and visitors alike while supporting economic growth for local businesses and traders. It's a fantastic chance for people to witness the adrenaline-fuelled rally action, interact with the talented competitors, and experience the thrill first-hand."
