Construction News Image
Plans for major resurfacing work on Belfast's Westlink have been delayed by a week.

Work on the key route was expected to begin this weekend, but will now get underway on Friday 26 May and operate for three weekends - 26-29 May, 02-05 June and 17-19 June.

This important structural maintenance will take place along the westbound lanes, between Divis and Broadway Underpass.

To complete the scheme safely, it will be necessary to implement a series of lane closures and overnight road closures along the Westlink on each of these weekends.
