Held by the Irish Planning Institute (IPI), these awards celebrate planning projects and individuals across seven categories. A President's Award, awarded by the Council, will also be presented. They will be held in Dublin on Thursday 28 September 2023.
The closing date for entries is the 12 May 2023.
Mary Mac Mahon, President of the Irish Planning Institute said: "The Irish Planning Awards provide an excellent opportunity to promote the contribution of planning to society and highlight the positive work being carried out across the sector and the role of planning in delivering quality, sustainable development.

"At the 2020 awards, we witnessed a significant increase in both the quantity and quality of projects submitted for consideration and look forward to receiving submissions from colleagues in the public and private sector this year, which will be celebrated at the ceremony in September."
New categories this year include 'Research and Innovation', which will recognise research projects undertaken by any individual or organisation relevant to planning, and 'Employment and Enterprise', to highlight projects that promote and support a successful prosperous economy.
