Relinea has stepped up its efforts to drive forward production with new machinery.
The Northern Ireland manufacturer has invested in a new Elcon Panel Saw to help meet increased demand for GRP products.
The new machinery is a big investment that will support orders and maintain an exceptionally high quality of work.
Relinea is at the forefront of a revolution in materials through GRP innovation and design, ensuring a sustainable future for all. The company is committed to improving the built environment through the delivery of superior materials and products for the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, rail, water treatment, and commercial projects around the world.
The business has seen significant growth in recent years, which has led to the need for investment in new equipment to support ever-increasing customer demands. With an expanding customer base, the new machine will give the company greater capacity and increased efficiency.
Elcon vertical panel saws offer world-leading cutting technology, built to extreme tolerances and delivering precision cutting to 0.1mm/m. Equipped with a 300mm diameter blade and pneumatic saw plunge system the Elcon DSXL vertical panel saw has been designed for heavy-duty, large-capacity cutting.
Key to the DSXL is the pneumatically operated saw head. Rather than the operator manually plunging the saw into the material when cutting, the DSXL is pneumatically assisted requiring almost no effort to make the plunge. Vertical panel saws are generally considered one of the safest panel sizing methods available when used by trained operators. The Elcon DSXL goes further and includes a series of electronic safety systems that monitor the machine’s saw beam position and head tilt orientation, providing operators with a safe and reliable cutting solution.
This investment is on the back of the company's strategy to continue to grow and improve business and in doing so maximise long-term value and deliver superior returns for its shareholders, customers, and society.
