Repairs Complete On Burst Kilkenny Watermain

Work has reached completion on essential watermain repairs in County Kilkenny.

A burst watermain impacted supply for approximately 3,000 customers in Gowran, Goresbridge, Paulstown.

Uisce Éireann and Kilkenny County Council deployed a team to site to complete the essential repairs by 12pm today, 20 March. However, it typically takes two to three hours following repairs for the network to refill and for normal water supply to restore to all customers.

Uisce Éireann's, James O'Toole said: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when an unplanned outage occurs and we would like to thank customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers as quickly as possible."
