HAIL Announces Key Appointment

Irish housing association HAIL has announced a major new appointment.

The organisation, which provides housing primarily for people living with mental health difficulties, has appointed Claire Organ as its new Development Manager.

Claire Organ has nearly 30 years' experience working in the housing sector, having previously held roles with Camphill Communities of Ireland, Focus Ireland, Clúid Housing, Respond and UK based housing association, Paddington Churches.

In her new role with HAIL, Claire Organ will be responsible for sourcing and delivering new housing development opportunities for the specialist housing association.

CEO of HAIL Martina Smith, said: "We are pleased to welcome Claire Organ to HAIL. Claire joins us at an exciting time for our organisation, as we have set an ambitious growth programme to deliver more homes across the country.

"We want to increase the number of homes we provide to help more people living with mental health difficulties live independently and integrate into the community. We are always keen to explore development opportunities with our partners in the construction sector, local authorities and private sellers to help us deliver more homes.

"I look forward to working alongside Claire as we continue to advance our development objectives and provide more homes for the people we support."

HAIL currently provides over 450 homes across Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Offaly, Longford and Limerick. The organisation aims to increase its housing stock by 17% by the end of 2023, primarily targeting one-bedroom unit properties.
