Work took place to address a secondary issue that occurred following repairs to a burst watermain in Castlelands on Friday 06 January, impacting some customers on the northside of Mallow Town.
Dedicated water service crews worked late into the night carrying out the repairs to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible. Normal water supply has now been fully restored to all customers.

Operations Lead for Uisce Éireann, Pat Britton said: "Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when unplanned outages occur and we would like to thank customers for their patience while we worked to restore normal water supply as quickly as possible following further issues on the water main. I would like to acknowledge the work and dedication of our colleagues in Cork County Council who worked through the night to ensure the complex repairs were completed and that no further issues were identified.
