Residents in Coleraine are set to benefit from a new and improved fitness suite following a £150,000 investment.
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council opened the newly refurbished space at Coleraine Leisure Centre.
Featuring state-of-the-art equipment suitable for all levels including free weights, strength and conditioning and functional training kit, the fitness suite offers an exciting range of cardio and strength machines
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Councillor Ivor Wallace said: "We know that living an active lifestyle is very important for our overall wellbeing, and Council is committed to helping our residents achieve this through the facilities and services that we provide.
"This new space, coupled with our knowledgeable staff who are here to assist and guide our members, is a great asset for the area, and it places Coleraine Leisure Centre at the forefront of gym provision in the area.
"I was made to feel very comfortable during my visit, so if you're considering joining a gym but you're feeling apprehensive, please be assured that you will get all the help and encouragement you need from our staff which will help you to set and reach achievable goals."
