Work Starts To Restore Water For Consumers In The Freemount Area

Irish Water has teamed up with Cork County Council to restore water for consumers after an outage at the Freemount Water Treatment plant last night, 23 August.

Every effort is being made to maintain supply to as many customers as possible through reconfiguring the network, the outage is impacting the water supply to approximately 1,000 people in the Milford, Liscarroll, Freemount, Bregogue and surrounding areas.


Pat Britton from Irish Water said: "The repairs are being conducted as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to the community and restore water for all customers.
