John Paul Construction has been recognised with a landmark accolade from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The firm has become the first contractor in the industry to secure the RISE Corporate Support Scheme badge, which is reserved for companies supporting their employees on their journey to RICS Qualification.
Being awarded the RISE badge is a massive endorsement of the company's established development initiatives that provide a focused pathway for our up-and-coming and existing surveyors to ensure career success.
Anna Galiano of RICS said: "Back in September 2021, the Strategic Partnerships Directorate at RICS launched this initiative to collaborate with firms in the built environment who are seeking guidance and reassurance from RICS on how to support candidates in their journey to RICS qualification. The corporate collaboration scheme is based on four clear principles: Support of candidates, Training, CPD and Innovation & Collaboration. Perhaps the most interesting principle when collaborating with John Paul Construction has been the Innovation ingredient, such as their leverage of evolving technology to harness new and improved ways of working."
Neil Shah, RICS Director of Strategic Partnerships, added: "RICS is committed to the highest professional standards in the development and management of land, real estate and infrastructure. We are happy to support our partner firms like John Paul Construction and their employees who aspire to gain the knowledge, skills, experiences and competencies to achieve qualified status as Chartered Surveyors. It's exciting for us to see candidates attain RICS qualification and proud that we can work with organisations like John Paul to help them attain the highest level of professionalism."
John Paul Construction presently have 1 FRICS and 16 MRICS. The firm currently supports 44 candidates who are registered for their APC through different routes to membership.
