Bennie Plant has become the latest company to join Finning UK & Ireland's expansive distribution network.

This move sees industry specialist Bennie Plant named the latest Authorised Sales and Service Centre (ASSC), selling Cat® equipment across Northamptonshire and East Anglia.

With eight decades of experience in working with heavy machinery and a strong reputation for hiring out Cat equipment, Bennie Plant is ideally positioned to help meet growing demand for Cat compact machines, as well as genuine Cat parts, Cat certified maintenance and service support.

Stewart Carter, Head of Building and Construction Products at Finning, commented: "We're delighted to welcome another new addition to our ASSC network. Ensuring we have the right level of coverage to keep pace with the fast-growing compact equipment market is key to us, and we recognise this needs to be done in a way that maintains our high levels of customer support.

"Bennie Plant is an ideal fit to meet these objectives. They are a well-established and well-regarded business. The agreement means that those looking to purchase a Cat machine in the region now have a local dealer from which to do so, as well as Cat certified support when needed."

Bennie Plant is a fourth generation family business, and now has brand new Cat machines including Compact Excavators ranging from 1.5 to 10 tonnes available for sale immediately. The full range of models available will include mini excavators, skid steers, compact wheel loaders and backhoe loaders.

Ben Hammond, Head of Sales at Bennie Plant said: "Becoming a local Cat compact dealer working with Finning is an exciting step in the development of our business, and a fantastic endorsement of the very high standards of service that we pride ourselves on. Customers can now visit our state of the art 10,000 sq ft facility in Northamptonshire to view the range of Cat models on offer and discuss how we can be of benefit to their business."

Matthew Ayres, Group MD of Bennie Group added: "I could not be prouder of the team here at Bennie that have helped put this together. As we continue to develop and grow our equipment and plant offering, I am delighted that our decades old relationship with Cat and Finning is being elevated to the next level so that we can support customers both existing and new in their requirements."
