Dr Ciara Ahern, Roisin Murray and Dr Una Beagon spoke to the students about their journeys in becoming engineers and the job satisfaction they felt when working as engineers and designing and constructing various buildings around the country. The event at Bolton Street saw TU Dublin help the participants make their CAO choices.

The morning finished with an engineering challenge to allow students to showcase their problem-solving capabilities.
This event was organised by the WITU (Women in Technology United) Network in TU Dublin. WITU, consisting of staff across TU Dublin, has come together to retain students in technology courses and increase gender diversity in technology courses in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to create pathways for all. This network aims to be inclusive of all gender minority groups.
