Northern Ireland-based construction firm McLaughlin & Harvey has won a spot on a new Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework.

The contractor was announced as a Supplier Alliance Member on the 'Construction Works and Associated Services 2 (CWAS2) / ProCure23 framework'.

The appointment onto CWAS 2 Lot 4 (Airfields) extends McLaughlin & Harvey's existing CCS engagements, with the additional awards within Procure 23 Lot 1 (£0m-£20m: London & South-East) and Lot 2 (£20m-£70M: National), further enhancing already extensive Public Sector Framework coverage.

Patrick McDonald, McLaughlin & Harvey Group Framework Director, commented: "We look forward to working collaboratively with all of the Client Alliance Members across CWAS2 and the Procure 23/NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSEI) teams, to ensure future capital works adopt the principles of the government's Construction Playbook, whilst continuing to deliver on our Net Zero Carbon, MMC, Sustainability and Social Value commitments."

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn.
