FP McCann delivered the work as part of the PEACE IV Shared Spaces project, along with associated LED lighting, fencing, landscaping and path infrastructure.
The skate park is suitable for skateboards, scooters, BMXs, rollerblades, and rollerskates, and designed such that it is suitable for all those of differing skill levels. The skate park has an individual combination of ramps, kickers and rails with Fearless Ramps designing and installing the park using their own experience as riders and users across a multiple of disciplines.

A second skate park was designed and constructed in Portavogie at the community centre on New Harbour Road as part of the same project with a different set of ramps/features. The Portavogie skate park was again designed to be used and rode by those of all differing skill level, with the artist rendering describing what has been provided within the park.
