Advanced Safety Management Ltd. (ASM Group) is a health and safety consultancy firm with offices in Cork and Dublin. ASM Group have been offering their services nationwide since 2003; such services include, but are not limited to, General H&S Consultancy, independent PSDP, independent PSCS, Safety Resources, Eng services (HAXOP, ATEX, Machinery Safety) and safety training.
ASM Group have always had training delivery as part of their business model; however, this was historically in response to Client requests for training. Over 12 months ago Managing Director Jim Horgan decided to expand the training offering of the business and begin proactively offering training to new and existing clientele, as well as the general public.
In the last 12 months, ASM Group have become an Approved Training Organization (ATO) with Solas, began offering Safe Pass courses privately to clients since the summer of 2021, and hosting their first public Safe Pass course in October 2021. ASM Group have become a Training Provider under the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), offering multiple IOSH accredited courses. ASM Group have also developed their training department, hiring their first Training Division Co-ordinator, Linda Costello, in September 2021.
ASM Group have made it a strategic objective for 2022 to expand their training offering and continue to reach clients all over the country. ASM Group are offering multiple public courses in Q1 of 2022, including:
• Multiple Safe Pass courses in Cork
• IOSH Safety Health & Environment for Construction Site Managers Refresher Course (2 day)
• IOSH Managing Safely Refresher (1 Day)
• IOSH Safety, Health & Environment for Construction Site Managers (4 Days)
• Managing the Role of the Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS)
• Design & Mgmt. Regulations - Duties of Clients, Designers & PSDP
• General H&S Training
