During these essential works, homes and businesses in the above areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages. Following the completion of improvement works; water supply may take two-three hours to return as water refills the network.

The works on Anglesea Street are being carried out as part of the Irish Water's Growth and Development programme. The works that commenced on 01 November, take place between the junction of Anglesea Street/Old Station Road and Anglesea Street/South Terrace and are being carried out on behalf of Irish Water by Ward and Burke Limited. Monday-Friday night-time traffic restrictions remain in place with the works expected to be finished by mid-November.
