The Department for Infrastructure is leading the £153,000 scheme which will see a section of road resurfaced from the entrance of the Woodlands development from Lurgan Road for approximately 450m to the end of the development. Road drainage will also be upgraded as part of the work.
Work will begin on Monday 27 September and is expected to reach completion by Tuesday 26 October. A full weekday road closure will be in place between 8am and 6pm during these dates.

The estate road will be open to traffic in the evenings during the week and at weekends. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained however some delays may be experienced. The main A50 will remain open at all times.
Commenting on the works, Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon said: "This significant investment will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this section of the road network to the benefit of all who use it. I would like to thank the travelling public and local residents in advance for their cooperation while these much needed works are completed."
